Congratulations, Paul Lascabettes<\/strong>, for winning the AFIM<\/strong> (Association francophone d\u2019informatique musicale: French Association of Computer Music) Young Researcher Award<\/strong> at the Journ\u00e9es d’Informatique Musicale<\/a> <\/strong>(JIM 2020: Computer Music Days) in Strasbourg for his presentation and paper on “Analysis of spatial representations of music by the basic operators of mathematical morphology.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The AFIM award recognizes the quality of the work presented at JIM by a young researcher who is first author and presenter of the paper. Paul did this work while a student at the \u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure and as part of his ATIAM Masters internship with Carlos Agon<\/strong> and Isabelle Bloch<\/strong>, who are co-authors on the paper. Since September 2020, Paul has been a PhD student COSMOS project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JIM 2020 was organized in part by Corentin Guichaoua<\/strong> together with Moreno Andreatta and colleagues at the University of Strasbourg and Conservatoire of Strasbourg. Corentin was also an editor of the conference proceedings. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in COSMOS.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
