More than 1,000 high-quality researchers entered the competition across nine separate categories. Of the applications in the Falling Walls Art & Science category, 30 were selected as Finalists. From these finalists, 10 are chosen as Winners. Breaking the Wall to Understanding Music’s Effect on the Heart was among these 10 shortlisted projects.
