The Cosmos Team traveled to Strasbourg to monitor physician-musicians of the World Doctors Orchestra (led by Stefan Willich) during their rehearsals and 5 April concert at the Palais Universitaire at the University of Strasbourg. A beautifully executed organisational feat by Mateusz Soliński, Natalia Cotic, Deniz Suer, Merlin Chao for large-scale doctor-sensor pairings, and Lawrence Fyfe who put the heart signals on CosmoNote for annotations in record time. Not least were the acrobatics performed by Miwako Eliasson and Liz Shenton to make possible equipment procurement on short notice.
Many thanks to Barbara Seeliger for making the study possible, to conductor Stefan Willich who supported the WDO’s participation in the study, to the many doctors who cheerfully gave their signals for the scientific cause, and even more to those who annotated their signals afterwards.
