Corentin Guichaoua is an organizer of the Journées d’Informatique Musicale (Computer Music Days) – JIM 2020 – and an editor of its proceedings. The conference is to take place 26-28 October 2020 in Strasbourg at La Maison Interuniversitaire des Sciences de l’Homme – Alsace (MISHA) and at the Cité de la musique et de la danse de Strasbourg.
Each year, the JIM brings together researchers, developers, and musical operatives using computers as a tool for musical diffusion, creation, interpretation, and pedagogy. JIM is led by the Association francophone d’informatique musicale (AFIM) and supported by the Direction générale de la création artistique (DGCA) of the French Ministry of Culture.
JIM 2020 is organised in Strasbourg by the LabEx GREAM (Groupe de recherches expérimentales sur l’acte musical) of the University of Strasbourg, with the support of IRMA (Institut de recherche mathématique avancée – UMR 7501), the Strasbourg Conservatory, and the Haute école des arts du Rhin (HEAR).
