Elaine is joined by Gérard Assayag (ERC REACH) for another performance of the Boulez Homage, Elez-Boulaine, AI-human co-creativity with somax2 and real-time visualisation of performer heartbeats and breathing with heartfm.

Day 1 : In Paris, interviews for the documentary took place in Studio 3 at IRCAM on 13 September 2024. Elaine and Gérard answered penetrating, thought-provoking questions posed by Anna.

Day 2 : The performance with Somax2 and HeartFM took place in IRCAM’s Studio 5 on 14 September 2024. This version of the Elez-Boulaine turned out quite different from the Singapore performance in February.

The crew after filming. Check out the documentary in early 2025 !

Happy to have had some time back in this beautiful city.

Interlude: While traveling from Berlin via Karlsruhe to Paris, Deutsche Bahn train disruptions left Elaine stranded in Leipzig for a few hours, which gave her the opportunity to visit Bach’s grave. Turns our Anna is from Leipzig and her last documentary was Living Bach, which features Bach choirs around the world !
