CinC2024 Karlsruhe Black Forest+ Photos

Founded in 1974, Computing in Cardiology is an international conference bringing together scientists and professionals from medicine, physics, engineering and computer science to discuss computing research in clinical cardiology and cardiovascular physiology. CinC 2024 was organised by Axel Loewe and team at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and took place 8-11 September 2024.

Apart from the scientific talks and poster presentations, CinC conferences are marked by their physical and less physical activities. Pictured below are photos from the Black Forest Hike. There was a strong showing from the UK research teams particularly from the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences at King’s College London, which also clinched several awards.

This year, the Music Theranostics / ERC COSMOS team gave two talks,
• Natalia Cotic spoke on Computational Validation of Synchronisation Between Musical Phrase Arcs and Autonomic Variables in the Cardiovascular Variability (S43) session, and
• Elaine Chew presented PhysmoNote, simple web viewing, annotating, time-map navigation for PhysioNet in the Software Platforms (S82) session.
