Elaine Chew with Hilary Sturt and Ian Pressland, assisted by Natalia Cotic and Mateusz Soliński, presented Music of the Heart – music engineering & cardiovascular science – at the Yamaha/NEXO System Designers Conference in Vienna, Austria, on 28-29 October 2025. The Trio, potentially called the Three-body Problem, started the presentation with Schubert’s Trio Op.100, Andante con moto, and closed with Ravel’s Piano Trio, I. Modéré.
The conference brought about 280 audio professionals together from countries from around the world. The four parallel sessions took place in the Wien Museum conference room, the Burgtheatre im Kasino, and the Musikverein’s Metallener Saal and Steinerner Saal.
The COSMOS team presented a 45-minute workshop in the newly refurbished Burgtheatre im Kasino, formerly the residence of the Archduke Ludwig Viktor of Austria, youngest brother of Emperor Franz Joseph I.
