The special lecture, moderated by Philippe Chevalier (Lyon) and François Lesaffre (Reims), took place 11h45 – 12h30 on Friday, and is titled Que nous apprend la musique sur les troubles du rythme cardiaque, que nous apprend le cœur sur la musique ? (What does music tell us about heart rhythm disorders, what does the heart tell us about music?)
La filière nationale de santé Cardiogen maladies cardiaques héréditaires (The Cardiogen national health network for hereditary heart disease) brings together the various players involved in the management of hereditary cardiac diseases – patients and their families, caregivers, cardiologists, geneticists, insurers, psychologists, clinical researchers and associations. The pathologies, which can be grouped into two major families, cardiomyopathies and isolated rhythm disorders, represent major causes of sudden death and heart failure in young people.
