The CNRS Institut des Sciences de l’Information et de Leurs Interactions (INS2I) management, led by its new Director Ali Charara, visits the STMS Laboratory at IRCAM. The visitors are treated to a presentation of the Lab by the directors, Brigitte d’Andréa-Novel, Jean-Louis Giavitto, and Hugue Vinet. This is followed by scientific demonstrations by the Acoustic and Cognitive Spaces (EAC), Sound Signals and Systems (S3AM), Sound Music Movement Interaction (ISMM), Perception and Sound Design (PDS), Music Representation (RepMus), Analysis of Musical Practices (APM), and Sound Analysis and Synthesis (AS) research teams. COSMOS is introduced in the RepMus presentation.
