The Music Theranostics Lab has three presentations at the European Society of Congress this year, to takes place in conjunction with the World Congress of Cardiology in Madrid, Spain, from 29 August until 1 September 2025. The theme is ‘Cardiology Beyond Borders’, with focus on ‘Global Health’.
On 31 August, on the Digital Health Stage (09:09) Natalia Cotic will present analyses of blood pressure entrainment to musical phrase structures; and, at Station 8 of the Research Gateway, (10:50) Poulomi Pal will present findings on music-based hypertension detection, with focus on isolated systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and (12:15) sex-based differences in cardiovascular response to music features.
