PhD candidate Wentao Hao hosted a stand at the Engineering Science Fair featuring a demonstration of Real-Time Symmetric Projection Attractor Reconstruction (SPAR-RT) visualisation of music and sound.
Wentao had recently introduced SPART-RT this work at the TENOR Conference in Beijing in October, which used SPAR-RT to see musical timbre, pitch, and tuning (see video and the publication).
The Engineering Science Fair featured six stands/activities/exhibits and took place on 3rd December 2025 from 15:15 to 16:15 in the Quad Lab QL-1.26. The Engineering Science Fair was held in the context of King’s STEM Lectures for Schools.
This year’s Engineering Schools Lecture featured Dr Michael Berthaume speaking on Anthroengineering and took place on 3rd December 2025 at 16:30 at the Edmond J Safra Lecture Theatre at the Strand Campus.
